2022 was my best year in business as a book publishing professional at Winn Publications. A huge part of it was because of the referrals I received from editors and others from author groups on Facebook. I’m grateful and I think that this is the way to keep going so here’s how I’m doing it.

My Book Publishing Professional Journey as a CEO of a Hybrid-Publishing Company

My company, Winn Publications turns 5 this year and I couldn’t be more excited. I am too legit to quit now!  Last year was so exciting for my book publishing business. I received so many more referrals from working with editors and to be completely transparent, I’m looking to double it up. I am looking to work with more book publishing professionals to cross promote our businesses on and offline.

How do book publishers work with other professionals?

While it’s important for me to be aware of other book publishers, I am looking to work with book publishing professionals like the following:

  • editors
  • book designers
  • graphic designers
  • book coaches
  • voice artists
  • illustrators

#1 Online - Instagram Live Interview

I’d love to interview you about what you do on Instagram Live @misswinn_ . After we go live then I’ll share the replay to my YouTube channel so that you can share the link with your potential clients. Outside of referrals, Instagram was my highest lead generator for the last 5 years. While my follower count might not prove it, what I know about how social media works is that once your social media starts to gain attention, people binge-watch to learn more about you. So let’s give them something to watch.

Schedule Your Interview

I use Calendly to make it super easy for you to pick a date and time that works for both of us. Complete the form and be sure to follow me and I will follow you back.

#2 Offline - Referrals

If you know anyone who is looking for any of the services that I offer, please send them my way and I will do the same. Referrals are YOUR clients and operate under your contract, and vice versa. I am not responsible for the quality of the referral and neither are you. If you’d like to discuss a percentage of the profit made from any of the referrals that sign on then I would be open to it. It’s not required but could be a good way for the both of us to win even further.

Support my work

I’d love to spend more time writing, and connecting with other Creatives via my website. If you have found anything that resonates with you or support, or guidance consider donating:
