Get plenty of rest: Sleep is essential for healing. I knew that I wasn’t doing well when I wasn’t getting enough sleep. I won’t tell you how much sleep you should get, but you DO need to rest sometimes. If you are having trouble sleeping, try to create a calming bedtime routine that includes activities such as reading, meditation, or journaling.

Self-care practices with others

Connect with others: Connecting with family and friends can help you feel supported and less isolated. Reach out to someone you trust and create a support network to help you through your healing journey. 

Get up and move around

Moderate exercise can help you stay strong and improve your overall well-being. Whether it’s a brisk walk, bike ride, or yoga session, moving around however you do it, can  minutes of exercise each day.

Take Time For Yourself

Make sure to take time out of your day to do something that you find enjoyable and relaxing. Whether it’s journaling, listening to music, or taking a long bath, make sure to prioritize yourself and your well-being.
