You gotta start somewhere. I say, hurry up and mess up so you can learn. What haven’t you done before that you’re trying to do now? You can’t expect to always get it right on your first try and maybe not even your 15th. But you can expect to get better the more that you do it. So you might as well do it and... keep moving forward. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Being an author is more than just writing and publishing a book. I like to think I take my work @winnpublications.llc seriously because of the families that are connected.

The process, the publishing, the promoting, the press, and the ability to rinse and repeat is major work. For 3 years I’ve done it alone as a solopreneur.

I’m just about ready for some teammates who too believe in honoring your family by simply being your best self.

Tonight I have the honor to have this author, author Rebecca Outlaw on Book-N-It. I can’t wait to hear about this book and how wonderful it’s been to take her family with her along her journey.

#storytime The other day something major didn’t go as planned for me and well, my face looked just like that 😂😯 a dramatic “WOoow!” Followed by a face palm. 🤦🏾‍♀️

I know I swore to only share my highlights with you because that’s my business 🤷🏾‍♀️😛 but Idk, even the lows can be seen as highs when they’re considered as part of the process. 🤔

It’s to be expected that technology will mess up. It’s expected that things won’t always go your way. It’s to be expected that people drop the ball even if the person is you. Not every situation will turn out perfect on the first try and that’s ok. Recognize it. Sit with it. Then get up and know that it’s apart of the process.

🙋🏾‍♀️ I’ve sat with disappointment, frustration, and hurt recently and what I learned is they’re fickle. They come and go so I have to keep moving forward.
